Jon Castro - Massage + Reiki
Jon has been a licensed massage therapist since 2006 and was attuned as a Reiki Master/Teacher in 2007. Since then, he has continued his education by studying additional modalities that Jon has found to increase his effectiveness as a facilitator for healing. The disciplines he trained in include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Prenatal, Hot Stone and Esalen Massage, along with John F. Barnes Myofascial Release and Cranial Sacral Therapy from Sacred Journey Institute. Jon also uses techniques from Table Thai Massage. Introduced to healing techniques when he was just 13 years old, Jon has since continued his journey in healing which only helps him assist his clients. For Jon, the process is a collaborative one where he doesn’t “fix” you, but helps you balance and heal. Jon’s goal is to create a safe nurturing space where he assists his clients achieve their wellness goals. Katy Lara - Thai Bodywork
Steeped in Ayurvedic/yogic wisdom and healing practices, Thai Bodywork was introduced into temples over 2,500 years ago. This therapy combines deep stretching, acupressure techniques and meditative breathing to give full body relaxation with many health benefits.
Combining her yoga assisting and adjusting techniques with the traditional Thai Bodywork practice, Katy creates a passive yoga experience that leaves the client with a sense of peace for both the body and mind. This full body treatment relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the energetic body.
Thai Bodywork is done on a floor mat with the client fully clothed in comfortable yoga style clothing to allow for movement and flexibility. No oils or lotions are used.
